Dubrovnik Restaurant @ Solaris

The Dubrovnik Restaurant in Solaris serves traditional Croatian, Italian and French dishes. Did you know? Dubrovnik is an old medieval city in Croatia that is surrounded by walls and fortresses and is known to be Pearl of The Mediterranean.

Cevapi and Djuvedj
Rice and vegetables, served with grilled minced beef and lamb and Croatian spicy vegetable salsa (a.k.a. advar). I like croatian kebab, very juicy yet not too intense in flavour, unlike the Middle Eastern's. The salsa sauce perfected the meat..

MONTANARA PIZZA Mozzarella, chicken salami, tomato, oregano and mushrooms on top of the thin crust. It was prepared in a traditional wood-burning oven.

The lunch sets are very value for money, considering that we only pay RM29 per set (along with ice tea) whereas they should be charging RM36 (for Cevapi).

Address: J-0G-14, Solaris Mont Kiara, No 2 Jalan Solaris, Mont Kiara
Contact: 03 - 6203 6780
Opening Hours: 11.30am – 11pm (close on Monday)

Kirishima @ Dua Annexe

On a very wet Sunday night, we opted to have our dinner nearby and somewhere warmer. So, We went to Kirishima Japanese Restaurant as it was very highly recommended by a friend. The restaurant is located in Dua Annexe along Jalan Tun Razak, just next to Dua Residency which is between Bombay Palace and Singapore High Commission (or opp U.S. Embassy).

We started off with Chawanmushi and salad,

then to our Bento boxes. I had the Prawn-salmon roll (cause avocados ran out of stock, so they replaced it with Salmon), Soba noodles (the white and brown), sashimi - was very fresh and I get three thick slices of them *Yum*. Besides, they served their Japanese clear soup (not the 'cloudy' Miso soup)in a pot and I drank it from a small cup, very refreshing.

The other two bento boxes are tempura/ fish set..

After the meal, we explore the place and found another Delicious (there's one in Marc Residence). There is also a Delicious 'grocery shop' which sells super-rich men's food (garlic RM5/kg, usually RM0.50 TESCO). Besides, they also sell imported tea, choc, meat and WINE...
