Benvenuto al Cipolla!

Cipolla (means Onion), Ciao and Ciccio are chef and co-owner, Rudy Stecca's trilogy of the "C" restautante. The ambiance is casual but sophisticated, with a sway of sentiment from the classical symphonies. This regional Italian cuisine restaurant is opened in 2006 and located along Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar.

After traveling through the Fri-mid-day jam from the city to Bangsar (Gosh, 5 mosques along the way), I finally made it for the Italian lunch. We ordered two different set lunches i.e. the Linguine Marinara and Pan-fried Sea-bass Fillet accompanied by a glass of cucumber juice (very refreshing on a32c-day). Both servings are very generous, fresh seafood and more importantly very flavourful.

Linguine Marinara

Cucumber Juice

To wrapped up our lunch, we had Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and coffee (my first Lavazza in KL, bravo!). Reference: Cipolla Ristorante Pizzeria

Tiramisu
(layers of espresso-soaked sponge fingers topped with mascarpone cream and dusting of cocoa powder)

&
Panna Cotta
(creamy milk custard with caramel sauce)
