Xan Ling Bak Kut Teh @ Segambut

This is absolutely a gem for BKT lovers and it's not as far as Klang, located along Jln Kuching. It is right behind an abandoned wooden-furniture factory and opposite some newly-built shop lots.

The dining area is an open-air space with plenty of fans (need I say more?). But, you will be surprised with the finely crafted wooden furniture.

The hokiens, the BKT specialist are very capable in cooking 'soupy' or dark-soya-sauced dishes. Besides the herbal Pork soup, their specialties are the home-made noodles, Yam rice and other Porky delicacy.

Bak Kut Teh
clear soup with generous pork sevings
(but lacking in Yok choi - chinese Herb taste)Home made noodles
in Hokien style, Seafood-Pork-Vege soup
Braised Pork - Kao Yuk
(Very addictive, especially the fat/skin!)

Chicken Feet
dark sauce with a little spiciness from the dried chili

Sweet Potato Leaf
- baby
Last but not least, my favourite

Yam with Gai Choi + Ha mai (mini-prawns) Rice
