Cava Spanish Restaurant @ Bangsar

We have seen the sudden emergence of the Spanish influences in town, such as El Meson (in Bangsar) and Bar Madrid (of Jaya One). This reminds me of a visit to the great Spanish restaurant, Cava.

Complimentary Doritos Corn Chips to start with.

Do you know Tapas means cover/ lid in Spanish? This is the story.. “Bar tenders were said to have placed a slice of bread on top of customer’s glasses in order to keep flies and insects out of their drinks. Later, the creativity of certain bar tenders saw slices of cheese and ham added on the bread which created very enticing snacks.”

Tapas - Prawn pil pil

Tapas - Sautéed Baby Octopus

Paella (means “frying pan” in Spanish)

with fresh mix seafood - Great fragranced dish, left me craving for more..

Sangria

with fresh orange shaken with red shiraz, triple sec and lemon juice

Address: 71 Jalan Bangkung, Bukit Bandaraya, KL

Tel: 03-2093 6637

* Operating hours:

12pm – 3pm on Mon to Sat and Only Open for Dinner on Sunday/ Public Holidays
