Yaki-Yaki Japanese Barbeque Buffet Restaurant

Yet another 50% Japanese buffet in town, very similar to Daidamon. Yaki-Yaki is located right next to Low Yat Plaza and behind Federal Hotel.

This is where we dine in - the Tatami room,

Instead of the hot dining area,

The BBQ meat are either from the menu or BBQ buffet counter. The raw meat are cooked on the charcoal stove (see below). The standard in term of quality & freshness is equivalent to Seoul House but couldn't be compared with Daidomon which serves much better meat.

From the menu,

The BBQ meat counter,

I wasn't impress with the sushi counter. Salmon, Tuna, Butter-fish and oyster are served behind the counter in which we have to request from the chef.

The Tempura counter doesn't look appetizing and very slow in re-filling (especially the prawns)..

The hot food counter serves very 'regular' food. Drinks counter was empty most of the time and that includes the drinking water tanks. As for the dessert bar, they serve local fruit and ice-cream (not Häagen-Dazs).

I wouldn't consider another visit especially if the price is hiked to its normal rate i.e. RM 75++.

Or go Yaki-Yaki and drop me some comments..
